USDA REAP Grant

The US Department of Agriculture offers a Rural Energy for America Progam (“REAP”) grant and loan guarantee for renewable energy projects. Requirements of the 25% cash grant is for small businesses (< 30 employees in one location, 150 employees national) AND in rural areas (< 50,000 population). The USDA also offers a loan guarantee program which works well to assist small business in obtaining low interest loans for their renewable energy projects. A feasibility study is a requirement of a USDA project and WattHub can provide the third party documentation required for projects over $200,000.

DOE Renewable Energy Grant

Department of Energy Grants have been on the rise for Tribal Nations as well as other emerging technologies. Such grants and incentives from the Federal Government require a feasibility study from an independent third party.
